Welcome to the official launch of MarineMotion.com, version 3. 

Tomorrow is the first day of October, and  a tropical storm is raging past us here in Newport, RI. We're all just getting over the Newport Boat Show and ramping up for Annapolis. Personally, I'm looking foward to sailing down over the weekend with a seasoned skipper ( not sure what he's seasoned with :) ) and some new crew aboard a beautiful catamaran. 

MarineMotion.com is a few years old now, and we've been in development for quite a while. My partner and I are always at each end of the spectrum regarding our progress... he sees how far we have to go and I see how far we've come... but we both realize the awesome potential of our endeavour.  We think we've built a better mousetrap, and we're looking forward to putting it into action. 

Over the years our technology has changed and grown along with the ever evolving industry standards. Regardless, tthe mission has remained the same:  

• ...to create a platform where boaters can promote themselves, their boats, their products, services and businesses with a powerful multi-media approach - and network with one another to develop highly targeted marketing messages that can be deployed anywhere on the world wide web.  

 

Users upload text, video and images to our site where we handle all the technical stuff, and the results appear on their custom internet TV station on their own websites. All that content can also be aggregated to thousands of other stations that want to share the content, expanding your marketing reach boundlessly.

This version of MarineMotion introduces the ability to cross-market and share videos within our network, as well as our most advanced station solution. Our system gives you unlimited channels and programs within your station,  no limit on where  you can deploy it, and the ability to share programs with other business partners that help each other enhance market endeavours. 

Another powerful tool that makes the marinemotion solution attractive is our ability to integrate with your Facebook site, and other social media outlets, to help drive traffic back to your website. Unlike other "sharing" tools, we are all about YOUR business getting more business.

We have actually delayed rolling out  some of the features of MarineMotion 2 as we rebuild our application from the ground up.. For example, we came up with another approach to our TalkNOW© feature, which allows your viewer to push a button in the program and connect directly to your phone through the web browser. Our plans will make this feature even more useful for business to present their products and create instant feedback from the marketplace, at incredibly inexpensive rates. iTunes publishing and publishing external videos, such as YouTube content, are coming soon.
